My name is Martina Jones and my background is in music education. After working for some time as a teacher, I studied Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and have since undergone further training in Gottman Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-focussed therapy, Family Dynamics, Anger Management, Trauma, and Sexuality.
I work in a person-centred and collaborative way, integrating the most appropriate therapy approaches, and regularly review progress in order to best meet your needs. I often make use of mindfulness and music in therapy, where appropriate.
I am an accredited member of IACP (Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists), and work within the framework of the IACP Code of Ethics.
