Counselling usually take place once a week for an hour, at a time agreed between counsellor and client(s). An initial meeting gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have.
There is no set number of sessions, but please bear in mind that continuity is important to get the best from the counselling process.
Fees and cancellation policy will be discussed from the outset. Fees are payable at the end of each session.
While Wicklow Well provides a safe and confidential counselling service, there are certain circumstances where contact with other professionals may be necessary, in accordance with the IACP Code of Ethics, and the Children First guidelines. This will be discussed with you at the initial session.
Wicklow Well fully complies with Data Protection legislation and you will be provided with a copy of my Privacy Statement at the initial session.
Online or telephone sessions are possible for existing clients if COVID-19 restrictions do not allow for face-to-face sessions.
