What is Play Therapy?
Play Therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses play and creative modalities to help children express thoughts and feelings they may find difficult to verbalise. It offers a safe, supportive space where children can process their emotions, make sense of experiences, and work through challenges at their own pace and in their own way through a safe, non-judgemental, non-directive and child-led way.
Through play, children can build emotional resilience, develop confidence, strengthen relationships, and learn healthier ways to cope with life's challenges. Play Therapy can be particularly helpful for children experiencing emotional, behavioural, or mental health difficulties.
*Friendships and bullying
