I work as a primary school teacher, and in the course of this work, I have become increasingly aware of the importance of supporting both children and their families with mental health and emotional wellbeing.

I trained as a therapeutic play practitioner and qualified as a Play Therapist with APAC (the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy). During my training, I worked within the community in Wicklow in Family Resource centres and also in primary schools. I went on to open Wicklow Well Play Therapy based in Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow, where I currently work.
